SORBITOL 70%
It is an hexahidric alcohol that can be formulated as C6H8(OH)6. It is produced by catalytic hidrogenation of dextrose and is presented in solution form with a content of 64'-68 g of solid for each 100 g fulfilling the norms USP and GBP 23.

Solubility: Very soluble in water and insoluble in other organic solvents.
Higroscopicity: It retains the humidity in the final products, it doesn't fluctuate with relationship to the relative humidity protecting to the product of the environmental variations.
Stability: it is more stable against the attack of the acids and solutions moderated alkalis oxidizer and in heat conditions of the monosaccharides.
Physiologic: It is not toxic neither irritating. It is not corrosive neither volatile, the storage temperature should be bigger than 22°C.
